METHODIST IDOL
The 2nd Annual Methodist Idol will take place Friday, March 16, at 7p.m. All are welcome to share their talents with our church family. We are looking forward to a variety of acts, not only music. Please contact Amy Brown  by March 13 as to what your talent will be, and the details (if you will provide your own accompaniment, etc).

Wanted: Drum Set
We're looking for the donation or a fairly inexpensive drum set for various events.  If you know of anyone, please contact Amy.  Thanks!

VBS Registration
Registration has begun for CUMC's Vacation Bible School. This year's theme is Beach Party - Surfin' through the Scriptures. VBS will be June 9-13, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, for pre-school age children through fifth graders.  To register, please contact the church office.

YOUTH-LED WORSHIP SERVICE  - 
Sunday, May 18th
On Sunday, May 18, the 9:00 a.m. Worship Service will be led by the youth of the church, including a skit, the music, greeters, ushers, the message, and the refreshments for the 10:00 fellowship time after the service.

Summer Preschool Program
Chandler United Methodist Church is also the host for Wee Blessings Preschool and Academy. A summer program will begin June 16 and their fall program will begin August 18. More information may be found at weeblessingsacademy.com or on the Chandler United Methodist Church website.

Summer Camps
Summer camp opportunities are available for youth through the Desert Southwest Conference of the United Methodist Church. More information can be found from CUMC, or at http://desertsouthwestconference.org/.

Kids & Music
Music is a large of part of Chandler United Methodist Church with a Cherub Choir for preschoolers, an Elementary Choir, and Youth Choir. Each group performs during the Worship service throughout the year. Older youth may also join the adult Chancel Choir.

Music/Worship/Arts Team
The Music/Worship/Arts Team has changed their meeting day and time to the first Tuesday of each month, at 5:00 p.m., prior to the Board of Trustees Meeting.

Prayers for good results for Barb McInteer after her medical procedure last week.
